Music is essential in terms of being powerful and distinct type of communication to move and calm down your mind and soul. The headphone technology has been improved since mid 20th century. In 1970s, the first magnetic headphone prototypes were produced and introduced. Nowadays, companies are able to produce the magnetic headphones.
However; one of these companies, Audeze as an award-winning took the challenge of producing planar magnetic headphones a further level by introducing the first in-ear type of planar magnetic headphones of the world: The iSine series – which includes The iSine 10 (top image) and 20 (bottom image) models.
The iSine 10 and 20 consist of The Fluxor Magnets that double the magnetic driving force on the large (30mm); ultra-thin planar magnetic diaphragms with UniForce voice-coil technology, which provides the most accurate and the least distorted (less than 0.1%) music listening experience through the in-ear headphones ever. The iSine series weighs approximately 20 grams. The Miniaturizing Planar driver technology is implemented to the iSine 10 and 20 models for better power enhancing.
The iSine 10 and 20 are accompanied by the first 24-bit lightning cable of the world with powerful DSP capabilities for more effective amplification of music. This lightning cable is compatible with Apple’s portable devices – iPhone, iPad and iPod. The 24-bit digital audio delivery from these devices has become possible. A standard audio cable is also included with the iSine series.
Audeze has also created an application (The Audeze DSP app) for Apple Store. Two presets are provided within this app; 10-band equalizer that alters EQ in real time and bass level refiner. Both the iSine 10 and 20 headphones are engineered, handcrafted and produced in California factory of Audeze.
The price of the iSine 10 is £329, whilst the iSine 20 costs £599 on Amazon UK. The iSine 20 is more expensive as it has a longer voice coil inside, which means the higher impedance (as the impedance of the iSine 10 is 16 ohms, whilst it is 24 ohms for the iSine 20.)
